PHOTOGRAPHS OF MEMBERS TREES

At our October meeting various members brought along trees for our display. We have three sections of judging for trees:- novice, intermediate and open. The photos that follow are members trees that were photographed at that meeting. Each of the catagories is represented.

This Juniper is about 6 years old. It was trained from nursery stock as a full cascade. This is one of my own trees.

This Juniper squamata prostrata also in full cascade style is owned by one of our new members, Keith Wade. The tree has been in training for 7 years.

The third cascade shown here is by Judy Chen. The tree is a serissa and has been in training for about 2 years.

The tree shown here is also by Keith Wade and is a beautiful informal upright Port Jackson Fig. Keith has been training the tree for 6 years.

This informal upright Privet is the creation of Kim James

This golden Zelkova by Keith is in the informal upright style Trained for the last 5 years.

Janet Yu owns this Callistemon.( It is infact "Captain Cook" bottlebrush). Native Australian Bonsai are reasonably rare. The tree is in an informal style and has been trained for about 7 years.

This group of Privets is owned by David Terry (That's me). The group has been in training for 3 years.

This is another group setting of Privets. Our President Kim James is the proud owner.

John Marsh created this informal upright Port Jackson Fig.

Rhonda Schultz has only been doing Bonsai for a few months and has produced this group of Trident Maples.

This plant is a yew owned by John Marsh. The tree is trained as an upright.
