These pages were coded by hand and tested on Netscape 1.2 running on a 386 with 4 megs of memory and a 14.4K modem (not my usual platform). I still stick to standard HTML-2 where I can, but there are now exceptions to this. If you have any problems with the pages please let me know, telling me the page's URL, your browser software and version, and if possible a URL where I can get a copy of it.
If it's about the quality of the graphics, there are lots of other factors. Start with your display, your hardware and software platforms, and for Windows users it will help to know which display adaptor (hardware) and display driver (software) you are using. Even then I possibly can't do much but I'll try!
(That's why I don't use a background - it's impossible to make it work for everybody.)
